Role of the Academy Registrar
The registrar serves as a central member of the school’s administrative and academic support team and is responsible for maintaining the integrity, accuracy, security, and accessibility of student academic records and institutional data.
In many schools, the registrar also plays an important role in admissions, scheduling, graduation management, reporting, student support services, and communication with families. Depending on the size and structure of the school, some registrar responsibilities may be shared with the principal, counselor, business office, admissions personnel, or other designated staff members.
This section outlines the primary responsibilities, expectations, and operational functions commonly associated with the registrar role within North American Division senior and junior academies.
