School Programs
Planning and organizing school programs takes a great deal of time and energy, but they are well worth the effort! School programs are one of the best ways to promote Adventist education and your school.
When planning a school program, be sure to include all students and involve others in planning and preparing for the program. Many schools have a Christmas program each year. It is permissible and even desirable to have more than one program a year. Some program ideas include:
- Adventist Heritage (Week of October 22nd)
- Drug Awareness Program
- Adventist Education Sabbath
- End of Year Program or Graduation
- Grandparents' Day
- Mother's Day (May be replaced with a Parent/Guardian Appreciation Day)
- Spring Program
- Thanksgiving
- Memorial Day or Veterans' Day
