Relationship with Church Board

The church and school are symbiotic ministries that are vital to each other. On many local church boards, the principal or school board chairperson is an ex-officio member. It is important that:

• There is a cooperative relationship between the school and the church board.
• The church board is informed of what is happening at their school.
• The church board understand their advisory role and understand that the school board is the governing body of the school.
