Moving to a New Location

If you are considering moving, start by speaking with your associate or superintendent. They may let you know if there are openings in the conference or can perhaps assist with disseminating your interest to other conferences if you are looking outside your immediate you geography. You may also forward your resume to another conference's superintendent directly. Notify your conference in a timely fashion, early notification benefits everyone to better plan, including your present school and any new school.

If relocating:

  • For moves within the conference, your superintendent and the HR or treasury department will assist with arrangements.
  • For moves to another conference, check with the superintendent or HR about available moving support.

Before leaving your school:

  • Separate personal items from school property.
  • Inventory all school-owned materials.
  • Complete all end-of-year responsibilities, including textbook orders and student records.
  • Leave:
    • your classroom, school, and grounds clean and organized

    • a list of community partnerships with contact information.
