About Us
The formative years (birth to five years-old) is the most important phase of development in a child’s life. During the early years, children take the first steps in a lifelong learning journey.
The North American Division Office of Education (NADOE) provides and supports early childhood leadership to nine unions across the Division. The early childhood advisory has a board board that includes the early childhood associate director from each union and chaired by the Director for Early Childhood Education for the North American Division (NAD). One of our primary functions is to create resources, such as curriculums, learning standards and standards for accreditation and other tools for our early childhood learning centers, preschools and pre-kindergarten classrooms.
We focus on early childhood development with a Seventh-day Adventist philosophy. We believe in the holistic development of the child – spiritual, mental, physical, social and emotional. Our Christ-centered programs allow children to experience the joy of learning at their own pace, through indoor and outdoor age-appropriate activities and play. Our programs are filled with Bible based instruction and are enriched with music, art, movement and activities that stimulate the brain.
Our goal is to elevate the quality of education, providing directors and teachers with the best practices for education and care for thousands of young children and their families across the Division.
We are committed to creating environments where children's natural love fore learning flourishes, confidence soars, and every child is empowered to reach their fullest potential. Join us as we lay the foundation for a brighter, more promising tomorrow.
