About AEtech
The North American Division of Seventh-day Adventists (NAD) Office of Education AEtech committee focuses on integrating technology into education. This group works to support educators by:
- Evaluating and recommending educational technologies: Identifying and suggesting effective tools and platforms that can enhance teaching and learning experiences.
- Support and guidance: Offering ongoing support and guidance for educators in the implementation of technology in their teaching practices.
- Research and innovation: Keeping abreast of the latest trends and research in educational technology to ensure that the recommendations and resources provided are current and effective.
Overall, the AEtech committee aims to enhance the educational experiences of students and support teachers in effectively leveraging technology in their classrooms.
The team has been given the responsibility of researching issues in educational technology, developing Adventist distance education policies and guidelines, serving as a resource for distance education, and facilitating the integration of technology in the instructional process - with all that entails.
The AEtech membership consists of representatives from the NAD Office of Education and IT Services, Griggs International Academy, and each of the nine NAD unions.
