Four-Year Academic Planning

Schools are encouraged to support structured four-year planning for all secondary students.

Four-Year Plans Should Include:

  • Graduation requirements
  • Core academic sequencing
  • Elective planning
  • Postsecondary goals
  • Honors/AP pathways
  • Dual enrollment opportunities
  • Community service planning when applicable

Four-year plans should be reviewed regularly and updated as student goals and academic progress evolve.
