VIRTUAL CONFERENCE  |  February 15-17, 2021

About ASDASA 2021

Something better‘ is the watchword of education, the law of all true living. Let them (the students) be directed to something better than display, ambition, or self-indulgence. Bring them in contact with truer beauty, with loftier principles, and with nobler lives. Lead them to behold the One ’altogether lovely. When once the gaze is fixed upon Him, the life finds its center. The enthusiasm, the generous devotion, the passionate ardor, of the youth find here their true object. Duty becomes a delight and sacrifice a pleasure. To honor Christ, to become like Him, to work for Him, is the life's highest ambition and its greatest joy.” Education p. 296

The words Ellen White used to describe what Adventist Education should embody are filled with potential, a realization that God has created us to be in a state of growth and expansion throughout eternity.  Each moment brings something better as God reveals another aspect of Himself.

Every five years, Adventist educational leaders—early childhood center directors, head teachers, school principals, school vice-principals, union and conference Office of Education leaders meet.  During their time together they participate in inspiring keynotes, informative breakouts, share ideas and discuss challenges growing their knowledge and networks.  This conference is called the Association of Seventh-day Adventist School Administrators, or ASDASA.

Schedule

ASDASA 2021 will bring together experts and practitioners in three key areas:

Collaborative Culture, educators work together at all levels to assess, plan, implement, and reflect. The involvement of everyone leads to smarter decision-making while reinforcing the value of each individual.

Capacity Building is an investment in people—educating, equipping, encouraging, and empowering educators so that they can engage and prepare their students for lifelong learning and service.

Commitment to growth compels educators to a recurring cycle of improvement.  Adventist educators must commit to reflective learning from God’s word, school data, instructional research, and professional practice to improve learning.
