Description: The certification registrar is responsible for processing Adventist certificates for the teacher and principals in the Pacific Union as well as Adventist teachers serving overseas. The registrar evaluates transcripts, processes requests, updates and maintains records. In addition to being the certification registrar, this individual also serves as the administrative assistant for the Union Director of Education.
Experience: A bachelors degree in office administration or teacher education is preferred. Completion of a two-year equivalent degree is acceptable. Experience in the field of education is helpful as well as a knowledge of the Seventh-day Adventist Church organization and school system. It is important to have the ability to perform work of a detailed nature and to track several projects simultaneously.
