Description: Greeneville Adventist Academy is seeking a full-time NAD certified teacher for the grades 3-4 homeroom. In addition, candidates with endorsements for academy chemistry, physical education, and math are advantageous. The school typically serves 75-100 students in grades K-12 with six teachers and a full-time principal. The school is located in beautiful northeast Tennessee in the city of Greeneville, about 45-60 minutes from Johnson City, Knoxville, and Asheville North Carolina, in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. The school has a reputation for spiritual focus and strong academics. The candidate should be an active Seventh-day Adventist valuing a strong relationship with Jesus, modeling and believing in a traditional Adventist lifestyle, values, and standards. The position requires an individual with good organizational skills, follow-through, team spirit, excellent teaching skills, and motivated to be actively involved in after school youth activities. Experience: Minimum: B.S. degree and current NAD Elementary certification. Salary and benefits are based on the denominational wage scale and policy. Must have the legal right to work in the United States and be able to provide evidence of that right if employed.
