Description: Wage Rate: Salary based upon degree & experience (plus denominational benefits) Duties:Teach communication department courses such as, but not limited to: Health Communication, Public Speaking, Oral Interpretation, Intercultural Communication, COMM/PREL/JOUR Internships, and other classes as assigned. The specific course load will depend on the qualifications and interests of the newly-hired faculty member and the needs and interests of the department faculty. In addition to an emphasis on teaching, Pacific Union College also places strong emphasis on student interaction and community involvement. Faculty are expected to participate in advising department majors, attend department functions, contribute to the College governance system, become positively involved in the College and local communities.
Experience: • M.A., M.S. or Ph.D. in communication-related discipline • College teaching experience preferred • Strong public speaking, writing and interpersonal skills
