Description: • FUNDRAISING DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
? Collaborate with departmental colleagues, staff, and with key volunteers to identify and implement innovative annual giving marketing and communication materials through the use of multi-channel communications (mail, phone, e-mail, web, crowdfunding, and other social media channels, etc.).
? Coordinate communication and solicitations for constituencies; maximize giving and participation rate through a variety of mediums including mail, telephone, internet, and personal solicitation.
? Plan and implement the comprehensive direct mail program (minimum of three direct mail pieces a year), including identifying target constituent segments for solicitation; conceptualizing themes; requesting data; writing letters and/or support pieces; proofing/editing written pieces and live data; communicating with direct mail vendors and consultants.
? Plan, organize and implement the employee giving program.
? Supervise the class representative program to maintain a strong alumni presence with students and future alumni. Coordinate affinity groups and senior class gift campaigns.
? Develop and maintain a PUC President’s blog.
• MANAGEMENT DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
? Develop annual giving strategic and operational plans. Propose yearly budget to CAO with recommendations for the annual giving program based on plans.
? Administer and provide performance reports for budget to assure sound fiscal expenditures and management.
? Make recommendations for movement of annual giving donors to major giving program and recommend potential corporations able to participate in matching challenges for the annual program.
• INSTITUTIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
? Research, recommend and develop plans to integrate the annual fund into the College’s electronic and website communications.
Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Public Relations, or Non-Profit preferred
1-2 Years of experience in fundraising and nonprofit management
Advanced computer skills, web, and e-communication skills
CFRE desired, but not required
Excellent writing and interpersonal skills
