Description: Demonstrate an active research agenda and excellence in instruction in Experimental, Industrial/Organizational, Health, or Community Psychology. Write grants to fund research.?Engage and mentor students in the research process. Provide quality academic advising to students within the department.?Attend departmental meetings and serve on institutional committees. ?Sponsor departmental organizations. Integrate faith and learning in the classroom. Other duties as assigned by the department chairperson.
Experience: * A Ph.D. or a terminal degree in Psychology
* Experience teaching in higher education and writing successful research grants is preferred
* Mastery of spoken and written English language; demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a diverse group of students and faculty, commitment to SDA education , and demonstrate support for the unique mission and lifestyle of a SDA institution of higher education
* Must have a strongly expressed commitment to Jesus Christ and the teachings of the SDA Church as evidenced by regular SDA Church membership
