Description: Job Summary:
Reports to Program Director/Chair. The Physician Assistant functions as a Program Faculty and assists with organizing and structuring the academic program in accordance with established educational standards and practices. Coordinates the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the professional Physician Assistant course.
Provides lectures and supervises and instructs students in clinical settings, and performs administrative duties. Performs other duties as needed.

Knowledge of current technology and educational media used in teaching and presentations. Excellent verbal and written skills in English. Demonstrates positive interpersonal skills. Cooperates harmoniously with others and shares information in a timely and appropriate manner. Demonstrates the ability to respond positively and quickly to changing circumstances. Acts decisively and takes effective action. Able to effectively communicate changes and instructions in a professional, effective and positive manner. Ability to prioritize assignments; follow moderate to complex instructions; ability to organize and quickly reorganize projects with minimal notice, work independently with minimal direct supervision; problem solve/reason; analyze data; explain and teach; attention to detail. Ability to multi-task. Resolve issues independently; manage projects from start to finish independently. Ensure quality and completion of work being assigned. Bachelor's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies or equivalent required. Master's Degree preferred. Minimum one year of previous teaching experience required. License or certification applicable to area of teaching as a Physician Assistant required. Current certification through the NCCPA and license to practice as a Physician Assistant required. Maintains a clinical practice required. Member of the Seventh-day Adventist church preferred.
