Description: The Business Manager maintains and oversees the daily functions of the business office, which include but are not limited to: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, collections, payroll, banking, preparing monthly student and any necessary additional statements of charges, billing, and financial reporting, supporting the principal in the enrollment process of new families and the supervision of vendors and service providers. This is a locally funded 30 hours per week opportunity.
Experience: Associates Degree required. Nine months experience in progressively responsible office, processing financial transactions, and/or bookkeeping work. Other combinations of applicable education, training, and experience which provide the knowledge, ability and skills necessary to perform effectively in the position may be considered.
Ability to apply basic bookkeeping knowledge to the verification of accounting transactions and to the preparation of routine financial statements and reports; ability to make rapid and accurate arithmetic calculations. Good oral and written communications and human relations skills.
Candidate must be a practicing baptized member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church with a strong commitment to its mission. This would incorporate an active relationship with Jesus Christ characterized by a deep desire for worship and service to God. The candidate will need to complete the Shield The Vulnerable Certification and provide background clearance from State and Federal authorities.
